UNUSUAL PAIR OF EMPIRE PERIOD WOVEN STRAW SHOES. 1810 - 1820
An attractive pair of hand woven and knotted straw shoes, probably made in the Far East for the European market, and dating from 1810 - 1820.
These pretty shoes would have been worn indoors for afternoon or evening wear, with white or coloured stockings.
Condition: Excellent, possibly never worn.
