EARLY FINE WOOL AND SILK LONG SHAWL WITH WOVEN ENDS 1800 – 1810

An interesting and fine shawl in cream with narrow woven ends in bright colours. This shawl was possibly made in India for the European market.

Superb quality cream field with narrow borders all round and fine silk fringe.

Condition: Very good.
There is a repairable separation of the narrow side border in one place, and two small pale marks in the cream field, also a very small hole in one border.
