These beautifully hand worked panels are exclusive to the town of Marseille in France. The ladies of the town started making these masterpieces as early as the 17th century. They became famous for their workmanship, and wonderful quilts or "boutis" were made, and given to royalty, and as tokens of appreciation.
These two pieces are in sparkling white cotton with typical design.
Measurements: 51" x 21" (130cm x 54cm)
